US President Donald Trump warns of fresh sanctioning on Russia after hinting at 100% tariffs on BRICS, and 10% on China

US President Donald Trump warned of imposing fresh sanctions on Russia if fails to strike a deal with Ukraine.  In this bold move, President Trump announced the potential 100% tariffs on the BRICS nations and a 10% tariff on Chinese goods. This raised a fear of a trade war.

A day after taking over the United States, President Donald Trump has made his intentions clear to bring sweeping changes for global trading with tariff hikes. The Republican president warned of imposing fresh sanctions on Russia if it failed to negotiate the deal on Ukraine. He also hinted at imposing a 10% tariff on the imports of Chinese-made goods from 1st February onwards.

US President Donald Trump also issued tariff threats to Mexico, Canada, and India along with the BRICS nations like Brazil, South Africa, and other European nations.

Donald Trump forewarns of 10% tariff threat on China

Donald Trump warned about the planning of the government on Tuesday. They are thinking of imposing a 10% tariff on all Chinese goods from February 1st. He also threatened to impose 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada. The announcement was made based on China’s “sending fentanyl to Mexico and Canada”.

Donald Trump plans to impose tariff hikes on China, Mexico,o and Canada as a strategy to combat the flow of illegal drugs, including fentanyl, to the US.

Donald Trump made a tariff threat on Russia

 He agreed to the possible hitting Russia with fresh sanctioning when a reporter asked him to take strict action on Moscow if Vladimir Putin didn’t want to have a word about the Ukraine war.

Also 100% tariff on BRICS nations

For ensure the dollar’s supremacy in global trading US president took punctuative actions against the BRICS nations including Russia and, China.Brazil, South Africa, and India.

Trump was quoted as expressing by news agency ANI.

“As a BRICS nation… they’ll have a 100 per cent tariff if they so much as even think about doing what they thought, and therefore they will give it up immediately,”

Tariff on the European Union

Donald Trump singled out the whole European Union and called it a “very, very bad” trade partner of the United States. 

Trump stated on Tuesday.

“Other countries are big abusers also, you know it’s not just China,” Trump said. “We have a $350 billion deficit with the European Union. They treat us very very badly, so they’re going to be in for tariffs,”
