Dylan Thomas, an heir to a pie company fortune, was sentenced to life in prison for his friend William Bush’s brutal murder. He stabbed the victim 37 times on Christmas Eve. Dylan Thomas, 24, stabbed 23-year-old William Bush with a large kitchen knife and flick knife on December 24, 2023. Thomas pleaded guilty to manslaughter but denied the murder charge. They had researched the anatomy of the neck in the hours leading up to the attack in the Llandaff, Cardiff.
Thomas is the grandson of Sir Stanley Thomas, he is also the co-founder of the family-owned Peter’s Pies in South Wales. The night before the attack Thomas had been staying at his grandmother’s house in Vale of Glamorgan. He also pleaded and took him back to his own home claiming he wanted to walk his dog.
On his way to the scene, Thomas messaged Bush on Snapchat to check if he was home. After the confirmation, Thomas replied, “OK, nearly home. Stay there x.”
After investigation, the facts revealed that Thomas had been searching online for details about veins, anatomy, assisted suicide, and arteries. The history revealed by South Wales Police.
When the property arrived Thomas went inside and retrieved the knives. He also went to Bush’s bedroom and he repeatedly stabbed him. Thomas stabbed his friend 37 times in the neck, chest, head, and back. The people on the street described screams of “horror” from inside the house.
