The SpaceX owner Elon Musk said the Tesla cybertruck explosions were caused by the fireworks or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented cybertruck.

“We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself,”
“All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion,”.
In another post on X Tesla stated
“The whole Tesla senior team is investigating this matter right now…We’ve never seen anything like this.”
One person was killed and seven others were injured in the explosions in Las Vegas. Musk also alleged a possible link between explosions of the cyber truck outside of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas and New Orleans. He also said that both of the vehicles were rented from the same car rental site Turo.
The New Orleans attack also occurred at 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday near the intersection of the Canal and Bourbon Street in New Orleans. The incident took place when a suspected allegedly drove a Ford pickup truck through a crowd in the French Quarter.
The suspect was identified as 42-year-old Shamsud Din Jabba. He crashed the vehicle then opened fire and died in the police shootout. He also had driven to kill as many as people possible 15 people were killed in the New Orleans attack and regarding that

“Appears likely to be an act of terrorism. Both this Cybertruck and the F-150 suicide bomb in New Orleans were rented from Turo. Perhaps they are linked in some way,”.
Turo, a car rental company, acknowledged in an email report that the truck was involved in the attack in New Orleans and the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded in Vegas, according to the New York Times.
However, US President Joe Biden stated that officials are also investigating the cybertruck explosion outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas.
He also added
“Law enforcement and the intelligence community are investigating this as well, including whether there’s any possible connection with the attack in New Orleans,”.
Biden stated,
“Thus far, there’s nothing to report on that score at this time. I directed my team to make sure every resource is made available to federal, state and local law enforcement to complete the investigation in New Orleans quickly and to make sure there is no remaining threat to the American people. We will support the people of New Orleans as they begin the hard work of healing…”
Las Vegas Sheriff Kevin McMahill said
“There is one deceased individual inside the Cybertruck, and I don’t know whether it is a male or a female at this time,”.
The FBI’s acting special agent in charge in Las Vegas, Jeremy Schwartz. He also attested to the involvement of his team in the inquiry.
US officials said the Cybertruck’s explosives were gas tanks, fireworks, and camping gasoline. They were all linked to a driver-controlled explosion mechanism, CNN reported.
Investigators are looking into any link between the explosion and the incident in New Orleans, where 15 people were killed when a suspect crashed a truck leased on Turo into a crowd.
