Speculation of an alleged affair between former US President Barack Obama and Friends star Jennifer Aniston has surfaced on social media, coinciding with reports of a potential split between Obama and his wife, Michelle.
On Jimmy Kimmel’s Live! episode in October, Jennifer Aniston addressed the claim. When Kimmel initially showed the Friends star a copy of In Touch magazine with a cover story headlined as
“The Truth About Jen & Barack.”
“Of all the calls you get from your publicist where you’re just like ‘Oh, no, what’s it gonna be?’ or you get an email saying some cheesy tabloid is gonna make up a story—and then it’s that. I was not mad at it.”
In response to Kimmel’s question about if the rumors were true, Aniston said, “That’s absolutely untrue.”
The actress said on the broadcast that she had met Barack once and knew “Michelle more than him.”
Furthermore, despite the fact that she “is a fan,” according to multiple media sources, Aniston’s agent confirmed that she does not have a “personal friendship” with Barack Obama.
Social media conjecture grew after journalist Megyn Kelly raised the issue on her platforms and said, “I’m not sure if it’s true.” But Kelly, presenter of The Megyn Kelly Show, went on to say,
“If it is, it would undoubtedly cause a political shockwave in Democratic circles, not to mention across the U.S.”
