After DOGE members were granted administrator-level access to the Education Department, Elon Musk recently disputed the department’s existence in the United States.
The Department of Education began to be taken over by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is overseen by Elon Musk. The Department of Education’s “administrator” email accounts were now accessible to DOGE officials.
American lawmakers and activists harshly criticized DOGE’s effort. This includes Congressman Maxwell Alejandro Frost as well.
In reacting to his criticism, Elon Musk said,
“No such department exists in the federal government,”. and ‘No such education department exists’:
Alejandro posted a video from the Department of Education’s office. According to this video, bureaucrats are preventing Congressmen from accessing the Department of Education. He called it unlawful for DOGE employees to obtain information through his social media posts.
NBC News reports that Ethan Shaotran and Akash Bobba, both DOGE employees, are given administrator-level access to the department’s email system.
DOGE staffer Shaotrana also got access to the back end of the ed.gov website on Friday.
After USAID, Donald Trump’s next target is the Department of Education
Days after halting funding to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Donald Trump and his ally Elon Musk are targeting the Department of Education.
Trump shared their opinion in his interview with Fox News. Over the next day or so he will instruct Musk to turn his government scalpel to the Department of Education.
“Then I’m going to go to the military,” Trump also stated, repeating his call for a review of spending at the Pentagon, the budget totals some $850 billion.
Trump’s action on the Department of Education holds a massive criticism. Becky Pringle is the president of the National Education Association the country’s largest labor union and closing down the Education Department will be a devastating solution for the students who have disabilities also putting the other students at risk.
