US President Donald Trump came up with the strange idea of having a grand ballroom in the white house. On Wednesday Trump strolled up to the East Room Podium and signed an executive order. According to this bar order, transgender women and girls from participating in Women’s sports and it was possible during this crucial moment that Donald Trump dropped his idea of a Ballroom.
USA Today quoted Donald Trump as saying
“This room is packed,”.
“You know, I’d offered to build a ballroom right here,” he also said. “A beautiful, beautiful ballroom.”
According to the White House Historical Association, the present East Room was created by James Hoban and George Washington will serve as a “Public Audience Room.” The room expands by about 3,000 sq ft. The East room is the biggest of the State Rooms. This is the only room that will run through the entire width of the executive mansion.
Concerts, dances, and press conferences typically take place in the East Room. This suggests the idea of rebuilding the East Room, the 47th US president stated, “This was gonna be the reception room.” Trump also said the East Room would have acted as the entrance to the ballroom.
Claiming that he requested the White House’s ballroom submission to the Biden Administration, he also stated, “I offered to do it,” counting, “And I never heard back.” Donald Trump was designed to complete a ballroom in the White House similar to the one at the Florida mansion.
Joe Biden was not the only president Donald Trump came up with his peculiar idea. During Barack Obama’s tenure, Donald Trump proposed to spend $100 million in 2016 for the building of a new White House ballroom. This project idea was rejected.
He also added, “I’m going to try and make the offer to myself, you know… Because we could use a bigger room, right.”
